Cultura Innovations is a think tank created by Shawn Alley, an operator with roots in farming and decades of hands‑on experience in sales, technology, asset‑based financial services, and general management.”
Raised on his grandparents’ farm fields, Shawn combines practical labor, deal‑making skills, and technical problem‑solving in every project he runs.
Shawn built Cultura Market, a retail arbitrage business that turns undervalued assets into working capital. That same eye for value and efficiency now drives the development of Shire Village and Shire Village Farms on a 3.5‑acre hillside property in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico.
Our approach
Think first: We design systems and run numbers before we deploy capital.
Build lean: We use used tools, supplies, and furniture when available, and innovate building methods like earthbag construction to reduce cost.
Build Smart: We utilize innovative construction practices to reduce labor, strain, and time to completion.
Build Strong: we design structures to exceed local code where possible, focusing on durability, safety, and weather resilience, especially in hurricane‑exposed environments.
Stack functions: every asset should do more than one job. Housing guests, supporting farm operations, and hosting workshops or community programs.
Give back: we commit a share of our time, knowledge, and production to the local community through food donations, workshops, and partnerships that support Puerto Rico and New Mexico.
